Ryan B. Green

Attorney at Law

Why did you become an attorney?

I became an attorney because I have a passion for solving difficult problems and helping people achieve their goals. As such, I have found that the practice of law provides me with the perfect opportunity to confront difficult issues, assess the possible outcomes, and pursue my clients' best interests, which ultimately improves their lives.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?

There are many experiences in my life that I use to help me to be a better attorney. First, I am from a small town but educated in the City, which keeps me grounded and able to approach clients' issues from different perspectives.

Second, I came to be a lawyer after a three-year teaching career as a high school English teacher and sports coach, which, in addition to my other experiences, has provided me with a unique ability to communicate in a variety of settings from the courtroom to the living room and from the city to Ohio's rural counties. Finally, I have also had successes and failures in relationships, school, sports and professionally, which I use to motivate me every day to come to work ready to perform at a high level.

What made you choose your primary specialty focus of law?

I am a general attorney who focuses in the areas of Domestic Relations (family law) and Estate Planning and Probate practice. I chose to focus on Domestic Relations because I have a background as an educator and in dealing with difficult family environments.

Also, my familial experience has given me a broad perspective of the difficulties of raising a family and the disputes and breakups that arise therefrom. I chose Estate Planning and Probate law because everyone must face their mortality and I know how important it is to dictate how your assets should be managed, protected, and ultimately distributed upon your death.

"I want every one of my clients to know that I care about them and the outcome of their case."

What makes your law firm unique?

My law firm is unique because I have innovative and new ideas that I employ on a daily basis to help my clients achieve their goals. Also, my career has been guided and mentored by some of central Ohio's best and most experienced attorneys and I bring their knowledge and experience to my practice for my clients at a more affordable price.

Describe your personal interests and hobbies.

As I have said throughout my posts, I am from a small town. In March of 2014, my wife and I purchased a small horse farm outside of a small town, which was in need of a complete overhaul. Therefore, my hobbies include working on the farm, tending to and riding horses and working on the farm.

My work includes remodeling the barn, putting up and fixing fences, and all the other wonderful chores that occur on the farm. I also enjoy spending time with my family, swimming and playing yard games and other sports.
